F1 at Home


The world of F1 is rightly the subject of blogs, articles and analysis. Most of it is excellent and therefore we let others take the space whilst in future we concentrate on how you can enjoy f1 from your home.

F1 eSports

COVID brought eSports to the foreground and since then there has been a growth in F1 eSports with the format developing into the first F1 Sim racing championship 2023/24.

Codemaster/EA Sports F1 Series


This is now the dominant F1 series having been launched back in the UK back in March 2000 and based on the 2000 season. The Series is officially format now consists of several online/offline scenarios allowing players to compete on their own at home as a real world driver or as themselves running their own team. Additionally the player can take part in a storyboard play scenario as one of the characters in the story.

The second limb of the Series is a raft of online races and F1 series where the player can complete in seemingly endless races and series that are customised to the players ability and experience. 

The most recent version is F1 24 launched earlier in 2024.


Frontier Developments F1 Manager



F1 Manager is a racing management simulation game series developed and published by Frontier Developments. It holds the official license of the FIA Formula One World Championship, the FIA Formula 2 Championship, and the FIA Formula 3 Championship.

The player controls the team within a realistic scenario of races and team/car development during a series of F1 seasons.  

Latest version is F1 manager 24.


F1 related Events

In the UK there are a number of themed F1 venues and teams also arrange factory tours as well as online fan groups.  

The London Formula One Exhibition at the Excel Centre runs until 31 Dec 2024 and is a partnership with F1 and Silverstone.

The Silverstone Museum located at the Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, provides visitors with the opportunity to explore immersive exhibits, legendary cars, and the stories of racing heroes that shaped history. 

The F1 Arcade London and Birmingham operated by Kindered concepts and officially licenced by F1. the two venues are located in London and Birmingham and are is perhaps the ultimate F1venue consisting of Bars, and F1 watch parties. Visitors can also race in teams or individually on state of the art simulators at the venues.

Other locations such as Mercedes Benz World in Surrey also host live streams of races and F1 simulator sessions. 

F1 Books

Over the years there have been many Grand Prix and Formula One related books. These range from biographies of those within the sport or guides to the series. 

Websites & Social Media

There are numerous information, news and fan sites as well as social media sites relating to every aspect of F1 as well as the teams themselves.

TV

As well as coverage in the UK via SkyF1 and Channel 4 there are also series such as the Drive to Survive Netflix documentary series and one off documentaries such as Brawn: The impossible Formula 1 Story on Apple+

Film

There have also been many films featuring Grand Prix and F1 races and we will be keeping a eye on the developments of Brad Pitt's 2025 release F1, set to be the latest film release.
